About this policy
This Privacy Policy applies to Antique Identifier, a freemium mobile application developed by Shivam Pandey under Petraapps, and to antiquescanner.app. It explains what information may be collected, how it is used, and the choices available to you. The service is provided as available and may change as the app develops.
Information you provide
You may provide information when you use the app, contact support, or use a feature that asks for it. This can include your email address, support messages, photos of antiques or collectibles, scan notes, and saved analysis results. Registration is not required unless a particular feature makes it necessary. Please avoid uploading passports, financial documents, faces, addresses, or other sensitive information when it is not relevant to an antique scan.
Information collected automatically
The app or its service providers may automatically receive limited technical and usage information, such as device type, operating system, app version, device identifiers, IP address, browser or network information, crash data, and how features are used. This information helps operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the app.
Location information
Antique Identifier does not collect precise, real-time location information from your device. Technical information such as an IP address may be processed by hosting or security providers as part of normal internet operation.
Photos and image processing
The app processes an image only when you choose to capture or upload it for identification or another scan feature. Images are used to provide the requested analysis and may be sent to an image-processing or AI service for that purpose. Where the app’s current implementation supports it, uploaded images are deleted after processing and are not used to create a personal profile. Scan history and saved results may remain locally on your device. Do not upload an image you do not have permission to use.
Third-party services
The app may use third-party services to provide hosting, analytics, crash reporting, app distribution, subscriptions, advertising, security, or image processing. These providers may process technical, usage, or submitted information on our behalf and under their own policies. Depending on the app version, providers may include:

When information may be disclosed
Information may be shared with trusted service providers that help operate the app, when required by law or legal process, when reasonably necessary to protect rights or safety, to investigate fraud or abuse, or as part of a business transfer such as a merger or acquisition. We do not sell your submitted photos or personal information as a standalone product.
Your choices and deletion requests
You can stop collection through the app by uninstalling it. You can also choose what to scan and what to send to support. To request deletion of user-provided information associated with your support request or account, contact support@petraapps.com. Some technical records may be retained where required for security, legal compliance, fraud prevention, or legitimate operational purposes.
Retention
User-provided information is retained for as long as needed to provide the requested feature and for a reasonable period afterward. Automatically collected information may be retained for up to 24 months and may then be kept only in aggregate form. Local scan history is controlled by your device and is normally removed when you delete the app.
Children
Antique Identifier is not directed to children under 13, and Petraapps does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact support@petraapps.com so we can review and take appropriate action.
Security
We use reasonable physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information processed and maintained for the service. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure, so please avoid sending sensitive information through the app or support email.
Changes and consent
This policy may be updated from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page, and the effective date will be updated when appropriate. By using the app or website after a change takes effect, you consent to the updated policy.
