Terms of Use for Antique Identifier

Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Use apply to Antique Identifier, a freemium mobile application developed by Shivam Pandey under Petraapps, and to antiquescanner.app. By downloading, accessing, or using the app or website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Permitted use

You may use Antique Identifier for personal, lawful research and discovery. You agree not to copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile, extract source code from, translate, resell, or create derivative versions of the app, website, software, trademarks, or original content except where applicable law expressly permits it.

Your content

You remain responsible for photos, notes, and other material you submit. You must have the rights and permissions needed to upload that material. You grant Petraapps the limited, non-exclusive permission needed to receive, process, transmit, secure, and display your content in order to provide the requested features and maintain the service.

Service changes and fees

Petraapps may update, change, limit, or discontinue features at any time. Some features may be offered as paid features in the future. Any charges will be presented clearly before purchase and may be processed through Google Play or another billing provider.

Data and device security

The app may store or process information you provide as described in the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for securing your device, account credentials, and access to the app. We recommend keeping your operating system updated and avoiding jailbroken or rooted devices, which can weaken security and affect app functionality.

Third-party services

Antique Identifier may rely on third-party services with their own terms and policies. Depending on the app version, these may include:

• Google Play Services
• AdMob
• Google Analytics for Firebase
• Firebase Crashlytics
• RevenueCat
• Appodeal
• Image-processing or AI infrastructure providers

Internet and mobile charges

Some features require an internet connection. Your mobile carrier’s terms still apply, and you are responsible for Wi-Fi, data, roaming, subscription, or other third-party charges resulting from your use of the app. You are also responsible for keeping your device charged and available.

Results and valuation disclaimer

Identification results, historical details, likely origins, and indicative value ranges may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unavailable. They are generated to support research and discovery and are not formal appraisals, authentication, insurance valuations, investment advice, or a guarantee of a sale price. Condition, provenance, rarity, authenticity, regional demand, and market timing can materially change an item’s value. Do not rely on an app result as the only basis for a purchase, sale, insurance decision, or legal or financial decision.

Updates and compatibility

You may need to install updates to continue using the app or access new features. We do not guarantee that every update will remain compatible with every device or operating-system version. Petraapps may stop providing the app or a feature at any time. If the service ends, your license to use the app ends and you must stop using it and delete it where appropriate.

Intellectual property

The Antique Identifier name, app, website, design, software, and original content belong to Petraapps or its licensors. These Terms do not transfer ownership to you. Google Play, Apple, and other third-party names and marks belong to their respective owners.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The service is provided on an “as available” and “as is” basis to the extent permitted by law. Petraapps does not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or the accuracy or completeness of results. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Petraapps is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or reliance-based losses arising from your use of the app, website, results, or third-party services.

Changes to these Terms

Petraapps may revise these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date where appropriate. Your continued use of the app or website after changes are posted means you accept the revised Terms.

These Terms of Use are effective as of October 16, 2024.
